Sigma Theta Tau Epsilon Xi

Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing, is dedicated to improving the health of people worldwide through increasing the scientific base of nursing practice.

The Epsilon Xi Chapter was founded at the University of Rochester School of Nursing in 1979. Our chapter is committed to supporting nursing scholarships through grants, co-sponsorship of conferences and other activities.

40th Anniversary Celebration

We will soon celebrate the 40th anniversary of our chapter's charter! This pivotal event in Epsilon Xi's history occurred on Feb. 7, 1982, where 260 members comprised our newly-formed chapter.

Dr. Loretta Ford, the University of Rochester School of Nursing's founding dean, has prepared a commemorative message:

DONATE

To mark this occasion, we have launched a fundraising initiative for our 40th anniversary, a $40 for 40 years campaign. We have already received a substantial donation from past presidents of Epsilon Xi, for which we are immensely grateful.

We sincerely hope you will consider donating $40 for 40 years, or any amount you are comfortable giving, to support our chapter’s core mission to support research, scholarly projects, and education.
