More than an educational institution, the School of Nursing is a partner in improving the health and wellness of individuals and families across the greater Rochester region.   

Employee Health and Wellness Program

Serving more than 25,000 Rochester workers, the UR Medicine Center for Employee Wellness provides in-depth health screenings, assessments, and evidence-based wellness programs for employers, including the University of Rochester.

Passport Health Clinic

Traveling abroad for work or vacation? The Passport Health clinic provides pre-travel physicals, vaccinations, prevention strategies, access to travel health insurance, and prescriptions for avoiding travel-related illnesses.  

School-Based Health Centers

School-Based Health Centers (SBHC) are an innovative community health initiative serving more than 4,000 students each year at East High School and Frederick Douglass Campus in Rochester with free and comprehensive physical and mental health services.

URMC Flu Initiative

UR School of Nursing team members provide quality flu services to more than 20,000 employees as part of URMC’s employee flu vaccination team.
