UR Medicine Affiliate Professional Development Grant
We are excited to offer UR Medicine affiliate employees 55% in tuition support for select bachelor's and master's programs!
The University of Rochester School of Nursing is committed to preparing dynamic, highly-qualified clinicians and leaders to promote the health and well-being of communities served by UR Medicine affiliate systems.
The Affiliate Professional Development Grant from the School of Nursing awards 55 percent in tuition support for all eligible employees of UR Medicine affiliate health organizations interested in the following programs:
- Online RN to BS Completion (BS)
- Online Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (MS)
- Clinical Nurse Leader (MS)
- Nursing Education (MS)
- Leadership in Health Care Systems (MS)
This grant is awarded from the School of Nursing and may be used in addition to any employer-sponsored tuition benefits offered.

How to Apply
To receive the Affiliate Professional Development Grant, follow these steps:
- Apply for one of the eligible programs through our online application system.
- Complete the SON Scholarship Form. When prompted to log in, select the “Sign in with Microsoft” option, and use your URMC email address and Active Directory password. You will be required to complete this form every semester you intend to receive the grant, after registering for courses.
