Post Graduation Opportunities
During the school year, students may visit job/career fairs in Western New York for the purpose of learning about employment opportunities. These opportunities are publicized on the student bulletin boards. The bulletin board located near the Student Affairs office, "Employment Opportunities" carries numerous announcements regarding employment by schools of nursing, hospitals, federal agencies, and other health service agencies.
Faculty members and advisors can be helpful in discussing employment opportunities in their specialty areas. In addition, the "Career Services" directory has names of graduates from the School of Nursing who are willing to act as resources for people moving outside the area.
