Welcome to the URMC Flu Prevention Program, the only flu program that is part of the prestigious University of Rochester Medical Center, serving the Rochester, Syracuse and surrounding areas. Our team is comprised of professional, highly trained nurses, to make things easier for you and provide an efficient and quality clinic.
Seasonal flu prevention is a very integral part of our community wellness initiative, offering public clinics and also on-site clinics at your business or facility.
The URMC Flu Prevention Program offers direct billing to Medicare and most major insurance plans including Excellus/Blue Cross and Blue Shield, MVP, Aetna, and United Healthcare
The Flu Prevention Program is a not-for-profit service provided by the University of Rochester. In 2009, we vaccinated over 20,000 adults at public clinics, senior living facilities and corporate.
Many public clinics will be offered this fall. Our website will be updated on a regular basis to include locations, dates and times. Please continue to check it regularly.
