Description:

The Foundations of Nursing Practice course introduces students to the professional role of the nurse and its importance within the healthcare team. This course focuses on using the five stages of the nursing process to construct an individualized, comprehensive, and collaborative plan of care. Students will explore ethical, theoretical, and historical foundations of nursing practice to begin to form their professional identity.
