Research is an integral part of the University of Rochester School of Nursing’s mission. We receive significant funding from the National Institutes of Health and are ranked at #12 for 2005. This ranking illustrates the growth and success we’ve experienced during the past few years as well as the tremendous efforts by our faculty. We attract both established and promising scientists. They enjoy a rich research environment characterized by a sense of increasing momentum and excitement, collaboration and support. Our researchers have built substantial partnerships with their peers at the University of Rochester Medical Center and with colleagues in the community. Our programs have had a significant impact on health care in our region and the nation. We receive support from the highest levels of our institution. Research, clinical and educational initiatives are fostered and facilitated through three interdisciplinary Centers of Excellence. |
